     Joshua and Carrie Torres grew up in Lake Elsinore, California and they have been friends since High School. They married in 2008 and bought their first home in Murrieta, CA. Their beautiful daughter was born in 2012. Both Carrie and Josh had hoped for more children, but it just wasn’t in their deck of cards. The newest addition to the family came in 2020 when they adopted their pug, Zooey.

     Carrie has a background as a massage therapist and working in the holistic healthcare field. In her late 20s she finally decided to pursue a career in the death care industry. She has almost 10 years of experience as a mortician and holds several college degrees. Carrie is a licensed embalmer, funeral director, a certified professional make-up artist and is currently working towards her death doula certification. In her spare time Carrie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing roller derby, going to the beach, and enjoying live concerts. 

     Joshua has a background of over 20 years’ experience in the aerospace industry and holds several college degrees. In the height of the pandemic, he became certified as a crematory operator working nights and weekends to assist local funeral homes and crematories with the back log of loved ones that needed to be attended to. In his spare time Josh enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing guitar, reading, and cooking.
